THE SIERRA BIRCH is ACTUALLY a mix of high mountain, quaking aspen and birch logs, they display their specie's whitish bark compared to the darker colors of the oak tree varieties. Though of smoother bark, it's distinctly dotted, pocked, roughened and knotty, and displays the real tree's natural colors becauseof talented, hand tinting with dyes of blended hues. It stuns the beholder and defies detection as an imitation -- even at arm's length. You'll have to feel it to know, and you'll be forced to admit it to visiting friends because of its beauty -- and of rightful pride. At first sight, interior decorators wish they had found it much earlier.
